It's just like Rikaco said, WMX is undoing all the mesh fixes TTW has. For example, the weapons are back to not being aligned with their sights (so they shoot crooked). This and other mesh problems are fixed in TTW, but since WMX undoes these fixes that TTW provide, it's considered incompatible.

TTW install load times take forever. Hi all, I recently embarked on the journey to install a tale of two wastelands and have gotten to pretty much the final stage. I have downloaded the TTW main files with FOMM and am just installing the options. The issues is when I go to open the options fomod file it just loads forever and won’t open. It takes about 40 minutes on my 5600x but could take several hours or even longer on a slower CPU.
