The "Millenium"-series, however, has about as much in common with other Taurus autos as the Colt AA2000 does with the 1911. PT-945 is a fine gun and a good "Poor Man's P-220". Whoever does the polishing appears to be pretty good at their craft. Trigger is good with a very short reset. The short reset really helps me, as I shoot a 1911 in IPSC competition. Long reset triggers give me problems with "double clutching." You'll have to make your own. I'd suggest getting busy on the basics of shooting. A laser does not make you a better shot under pressure. It was a conglomerated 'mish-mash' of a manual, covering virtually ALL Taurus pistols combined into one, and it barely mentioned the PT38S. It took countless hours of research on-line, to learn that it was closely related to the PT945, before I was able to determine things as simple as how to even field strip the PT38S!
