Charleston is great if you like beach weather, sweating nonstop in summer, don't mind critters (gators!), and are ok dealing with hurricane season. Haven't worked on the main campus in like 7.5 years, so barely a part of "BSC" at this point, but it's fine. I'm from NJ, and pizza is a really big deal. La Pizzeria is, by far, the best I've had in Charleston. Park Pizza is extremely good, though.
