Feb 22, 2017 · Hi. Welcome. To test the glow plugs unhook the power wire and ohm the glow plug from the top post to the block. You should get near zero or zero ohms. If you get open then the plugs are probably bad. May want to look for a new dealer as well.

May 12, 2017 · Remove the snap ring. The carefully slide the collar shaft assembly out. I figured out that either someone tried to force the PTO in gear without the clutch engaged or the PTO lever did not lock into place and the collar slid forward an damage the collar which the damaged the shaft.

It has about 300 hours on it. I follow the maintenance schedule carefully. It has begun randomly shutting off mid-operation. I've noticed while mowing and also just driving down the road. It usually happens after it has been running for 30 minutes or so. There is no sputtering or power loss. It just abruptly shuts off.

When the bolts loosen they work on the threads and eventually fall out which lets the loader frame do what ever it wants to. It sounds like I have a very similar problem. Find the solenoid, and check it for voltage with key on, if ti has voltage, and does not retract and hold, the solenoid is bad. If it does not have voltage to it, check upstream by using wire color, to see where voltage is lost.
