I have a 2009 Honda Civic and while I was on the road with my cruise control on it had some issues. The car kicked off of cruise control and the dash board of my car the RPM's went to 0 and the heat sensor shut off. The check engine light came on and the green light next to "D" was flashing. It's under a black cover held in by 3 bolts, the part itself is only held in by 2. When you go to install the new one, line up the the bolt holes by looking at the dirt outline, you need to get it lined up right or it wont work right. Here is a pic for reference. Its on the drivers side, need to take off the tire and leave it in Neutral.
