If you look at the module with the terminals pointing down, the two on the left go to the pickup coil (black and blue on my '86).

If you have any at all, it is the 300cc. The 300cc is oil/air cooled so that "mini radiator" you spotted would be the oil cooler. Checked coolant resevoir and it was full, however the radiator took quite a bit of water. Try this: "Rotate the motor while watching the intake valve open and close. Go to the T mark on the flywheel. This is TDC on the compression stroke. Adjust the intake valve to .13mm and the exhaust to .18mm.if you a volt meter check the power of the battery,it should be about 12volts. with it not running.but if it is 9.5 v to lower replace the battery. now if its running the voltage should only be about 13-14 volts.any higher then the voltage regulater is prolly faulty and in need of replacemet. oh yeah and get some new bulbs for the lights after ...Need a new belt??
