I think heme onc offers a better lifestyle. But at the end of the day, you have to enjoy the subject matter to remain happy as an attending for decades. Heme/onc is a little different, since benign heme especially is almost an entirely different field. Additionally, a lot of the training at major academic centers is very silo-ed.
