I'm using a guide to get all 900 before meeting Hestu on my fresh master mode run, where I can't fast travel after collecting the seeds unless it's the DLC item in a location one time. I feel like 900 is too many to bother with not using a guide. If it were 100-200 I'd consider it a bit less ridiculous.
