The flamer barrel is not causing the weapon to deal fire damage, so it doesn’t count for friendly fire. You need a beta or gamma capacitor for that to happen, and those mods don’t exist for this weapon. AA\50c\25 is the meta, people generally want it to burn bosses with their commando builds. Quad is useless as the effect only apply to the base weapon making the increase meaningless.
