Here's my depiction of the largest of all felids, Smilodon populator. A titanic sabretooth that roamed South America during the Pleistocene. I based its fur on the tiger, lion and jaguar, the largest cats alive today. It would be more suitable due to the environment in South America. This is also for "The Story of Smilodon: Call of the Sabretooth".
This is pretty good. The spotting and everything looks up-to-date and realistic, though it should probably be bulkier. It's well known that Smilodon prowled the lands of North America from 2 mya to 10,000 years ago. At some point in the early Pleistocene, Smilodon migrated down to South America.
