2000 Vulcan 800 Carburetor issue. When I bought it, it ran long enough to test ride and once around the neighborhood. The bike flooded out and when I took the air filter cover off it was full of fuel. Decided I should clean out the carb and noticed it was full of sediment and the air cut valve could be seen through.

New to the forum and needing some advice. I recently purchased a 99 Vulcan 800 Classic for the wife. The problem I am having is that on cold start it stalls as soon as soon as you put it in 1st gear and the bike starts moving. It usually takes several attempts at revving really high on the throttle to finally get it going so that it doesn't stall.
