UWorld I think they do an excellent job of giving you MCAT style questions and breaking them down with INCREDIBLY detailed and useful explanations. UWorld CARS - IMO it's BS. It's been a long standing notion on r/MCAT that UWorld CARS is the best form of practice outside of the AAMC material. I very much disagree. As I've continued to do the CARS questions on UWorld (I've done all but 30 questions) and also all of the AAMC CARS material, I'm realizing that UWorld really has some terrible ...Keep your head up and keep grinding. Uworld is great practice, but in no way represents how you'll do on the real thing! KA cars go to Jack Westin's site to do it in the MCAT format; it's most similar to AAMC without being AAMC there's ~30ish passages. Maybe look at ek verbal and tpr hyperlearning.
I've heard people say Uworld's ACT practice is harder than the actual ACT. I mean, before using UWorld, practice ACT tests used to scare me. After using, it's kind of easy. I think that's the point. I've been doing Uworld for about a month now and it's going great (Avg a little shy of 70%. I feel half I miss are content, the other half are because I do something dumb/overthink).
