SPEEDRUN Idea: Junimo Kart Race. That's right. I hope there are speedrunner reading this. My idea is to create a new speedrun category called "Junimo Kart Race Speedrun". You start a new game with no mods/glitches and you should beat Junimo Kart. There is no way to play it unless you find the Skull Key at the bottom of the mines.
RNG despises you and wants to kill you a lot, by inevitably plummeting you into the abyss or by throwing random things for you to crash into with no possibility of survival. I just wanted to knock Lewis off the top spot! At the start Lewis holds the top spot at 50k and then in qis walnut room you can get a quest to beat 50k no matter what the top score is. I assume everyone is bad at Jumino Kart until proven otherwise. It's surprisingly hard.

The key unlocks both the desert mine (which is endless) and the arcade game. It is the former the game wants you to use it for to complete the quest. Same. I’ve beaten junimo kart several times now, but always by taking the lava path. I’ve never even gotten half way through let alone beaten the mushroom path. It’s at the point where I all but give up if the kart goes that way.
