I have 2003 4cyl EXL 4d accord and recently have been noticing that the driver side air is noticeably warmer then the passenger side when the air conditioner is on. I put both sides to low (on dual mode) and left side was barely cold and right was cold (for a honda that is).

The way the air flows across it depends on the total heat a non dual climate control system presents as one side hot when there restricted or have a failed thermostat. If it works this way, the left-right temperature diff may show late in normal usage when it's not too hot, because the dual control will work to keep the set temperatures by mixing in less warm air on the left side. Apr 6, 2022 · There are 3 "blend" motors. 1 on driver's side (I think this is what you are showing) - air mix control motor. 2 on Passenger side: Mode control motor and recirculation control motor. They all pretty much LOOKS the same. Drop the glove box and see if the ones on passenger side are operating correctly.

Usually what happens is that the evaporator (in car coil) will be cold only half way, the other part doesn't get cold.

The problem is your Driver's Air mix control motor. If the "Heater Control Valve" is stuck open, both side would've been blowing hot. You can try disconnecting the connector to the motor and plugging it back.
