Thus, to get rid of this issue, one is needed to do is to update the HIDIVE app on the device and see if updating the app fixes the issue. English dub subtitles not appearing? I've tried using Hidive on a Roku TV, a PS5, iOS, and in both Firefox and Chrome on my PC with the same issue. Whenever I select an option for an English dub with subtitles, the subs do not appear. I've tried changing system wide settings on both the TV and PS5 with no luck.
Anybody know if HiDive subtitles work on their Roku app? Tried to check but it won't let you start content for free without signing up for trial. For some reason on the VRV Roku app, only HiDive content had messed up subtitles where it displayed 2-3 instances at once with black backgrounds.
