Roku tv keeps kicking me out of apps.
No Thanks. Your robotic response appears to have not resolved the problem for others and no doubt it will not resolve the same for me. Though I shouldn't be these days, I'm amazed that a defect such as this one has either not been successfully addressed or perhaps even worse, just been given lip service with a generic "Reboot" over the years.
Then it became more often, then it started happening with other TV’s. I have 4 Roku TV’s in my house, 3 different brands. I have removed the app(s) and reinstalled them. I have checked for updates. I did a factory reset on one of my TV’s to see if it worked, before I did all 4 of them, and it did not. My Wi-Fi is great.TCL Roku TV - Netflix constantly goes back to home screen. When I put it on the family room tv it was to try to solve a buffering problem with the tv. The Roku solved the buffering problem so I determined that the problem was related to the tv’s ability to stream. I ordered a new Roku for my family room tv and then moved the old Roku back upstairs. The kicking issue started with the new Roku.On both of my Hisense TVs (a 2020 H8 and 2021 U6G), apps sometimes randomly crash while playing a video. I notice this most often on YouTube, just because that's what I often have playing "background videos" while I work or whatever. It will be playing a video perfectly fine, and then, without warning, crash to the home screen.
