Dec 23, 2023 · Xfinity not updating gateway firmware. i am using my own top of the line modem gateway (Arris G36). It is currently running this firmware AR01.04.028.01.01_040121_724.NCS.20.X2. which according to Arris has a bug where modem will intermittently loose connection. According to Arris, xfinity pushed a firmware update in Nov 2023 with this version. ARRIS is known around the world for innovation in communications.
