Then leaving shuttled to downtown, ordered uber from there. And it drops you off right next to the bars... So if you want to keep going, you can.

Shuttles were less than hour and easy to hop on. Definitely would do again. Airbnb and driving ourselves seemed to be a great choice for us, first time at EDC so haven't tried anything else. I went Day 3 last year and it only took five minutes to get on a shuttle and around 45 minutes to get there. 2015 I went three days but only day 1 leaving edc was 3 hours wait. Day 2 and 3 was significantly better.
