I've seen some other threads in the past where people have had driver side hot, passenger cold, but mine is the opposite. People in those threads gave various suggestions and reasons as to why the driver side would fail, so I'm not sure exactly what the issue is. A suggestion in one of those threads was to disconnect the blend motor.

The problem is your Driver's Air mix control motor. If the "Heater Control Valve" is stuck open, both side would've been blowing hot. You can try disconnecting the connector to the motor and plugging it back.
