Tripadvisor hotel pics and reviews can be really helpful. Palmaia House of AiA beach looks beautiful. So do hotels like Belmond Maroma, but it's not all inclusvie. And for a livelier experience you want Cancun. The others are a bus ride to and from the clubs and anything else. RPLA is adults only, with better specialty restaurants than Cancun but Cancun is still good. Of course you can stay at RPLA and still use the Cancun pool if you find a younger crowd there.
