Pre-owned doesn't necessarily mean open, as evident by AmiAmi's grading scale, which includes a letter assignment for an unopened box. I'm just discontent as to why their "A" grading is so vague. I personally wouldn't take that gamble on buying from their pre-owned section if I wanted an unopened item, but the vague grading isn't making it easy ...

In general it's supposed to be completely undamaged. While most people seem to get that outcome I overall didn't have the greatest experience with amiami pre-owned condition rating.
