MyRise controller support is weird. I found the answer. If the game has you keyboard set as player one my rise won't use the controller. I quit the game and restarted and made sure to not press anything on keyboard. That did the trick. Running the game in Big Picture Mode fixed it. Bruh its not working on big pic mode.
