A thaumaturge is by definition low to mid magic. Their entire schtick and flavour is inherently magical. As you've mentioned I totally agree about the scroll thaumaturgy as well and how impactful it can be. I'd argue a Thaumaturge is explicitly more magical than most champion and rogue builds and it's 100% clear.
