So Biochem depth is UWorld>AAMC>KA. If you cover UWorld, I think you'll be good for biochem content. However, for style of questions, AAMC content is much more representative. UWorld tests a lot of content directly. I'd say 80% of the questions don't require the passage information to answer the Qs, whereas 80% of Q's for AAMC requires passage ...
If you are pressed for time don't worry but its good to judge your content knowledge. I was about 95% correct for bio qpack 1 if you care about percentages. Practice is practice. No denying the QPs (except CARS) are easier than exam day but you will see questions on the exam that are QP level. Do them if you have time.
the bp exams are not great predictors. 1-5 in my experience were def harder than the actual exam and harder than even the AAMC practice material. but they are ~ok~. i cant give you an exact number for how deflated this score is, but you can expect to do a little better on the actual MCAT that whatever you get on these exams. To me, the QPacks were not very useful other than to identify obvious content gaps. The section banks were the level of the harder passages on test day, but definitely were within the ballpark of things that showed up. Uworld is pretty close to the real deal, especially for a third party company.
