Interactive brokers vs tradovate.
Ninja is a decent platform. It costs more and I just don’t think it’s as customizable. Interactive Brokers is just not good for futures. Platform sucks, data is crap. I’ve heard Tradeovate is good. But you still need a charting platform (I believe). AMP is probably the cheapest as far as commissions go.
The futures commissions on tda are nasty indeed. ~$5 per contract round trip. Terrible. But I like the interface and I think using ActiveTrader is easier and more intuitive than most other platforms I’ve tried.
