I have a 2008 2.2 CDTI..had same problem ,except squeaked with every press and release..lived with it for a long time...finally after looking at forums and speaking to Honda dealer,went for the recommended solution..new clutch master cylinder ( £200 - £300 forgot exact price) It was done 15mths ago and never squeaked once..worth doing.My 2007 Honda Element is very squeaky.
