I find that setup interferes w a good sight picture. So, you may want to change the sights as well. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year,

Slide didn't lock back on my XDM. I have a new XD (M) 9mm with the 4.5" barrel. On my most recent trip to the range I did have one minor issue and I wanted to get some advice from everyone on what the cause might be. At the end of shooting through the second mag the slide failed to lock back after all the rounds had been shot.

The XDm slide stop/release feels like a nice machined part, the X-five feels like a cheap folded glock part, both work fine. They both seem to track pretty similar under recoil, however the XDm is much "smoother" in it's recoil stroke, where the X-five has a lot of mechanical "feedback" through the trigger/grip especially at the end of the ...
