This mod came about mostly as a way to allow closing doors in pre-existing structures that are open but "locked", but it can be used with any locked door in the same way as lockpicks are used to open locked storage chests. Lockpicking would be quiet compared to bashing a door down but take longer until you have more skill. Opening a safe or desk or file cabinate etc with brute force could lower the quality of items you find inside or give you less items.
