The fuel tank and carburetor must be drained and flushed of water, mud, trash, etc. Disconnect the fuel line from the carburetor and check the fuel pump.Turn the ignition on and observe if there is fuel flowing from the line. After a minute or two the temp reading came back, check engine and temp light went off, and she came out of limp mode. The temp fluctuated from as high as 175f down to -24f. Once it made it down to the negative numbers the lights came back on and it went back into limp mode.

I've read that disconnecting the battery will do it but also that a dealer has to do it with software. I tried disconnecting the battery and it cleared the check engine light but the blink codes are still present.
