Another comprise was the cab, would have preferred to have the front of the cab slope back at 10 to 12 degrees and the back be straight. As it was we had to push the front of the cab as far forward as possible. On the back of the cab the back wall comes up straight for 18 inches or so then angles back at about 14 degrees.

Homemade cab for BX25D. I decided I am going to build my own cab for two reasons. One is for clearance in to my garage since its 80 inches and a manufactured cab would be too high and the other reason because I plan on saving a fair amount of money. I've seen some $200-400 cabs and that isn't for me either.
The main issue I see with home-made cabs is, tractors sold without an OEM cab are probably not going to have AC or Heat.
