The trick is to pull the fuse so no new power to radio head unit. then the act of inserting the cd used up power in capacitors and "reset it". then put fuse back in. 2015 F150 Sync/Stereo Not Working. My Sync/Stereo stopped working after boosting my neighbours car in January. I’ve Done everything suggested like Reseting and Disconnecting the battery! All the fuzes look good. There is an odd clicking noise in the dash above the sync screen. My battery has been draining even tho i bought a new one 4 weeks ago.It's description is something about an ECS among other things but doesn't mention Mic or compass. Found it in the wiring diagram. The fuse was good when I checked it so I put it back in and I noticed the compass started working. Tried using the phone with Sync and people could finally hear me.
