Yes, you can have as many games as there are profiles on the system. I don't think you understood my question. There is not more than one manual save and few autosaves normally. The only thing I can think of to help is to find a mod/hack to give you a save before the boss. Finish your current run, put the game down for a while, and then pick it up and try Master mode. If my understanding of the question is correct then no, I don't think you can have multiple save files on one profile. I'm not sure, but maybe if you had a second profile on the Switch and opened the game there, you could start a new game without it affecting your initial save on the other profile, but that's about the best you could do. 1. So yeah, in there you have to folders, "local" and "remote", plus the file "remotecache.vdf", copy the two folders to whatever backup place you want. Now to start fresh you need to delete the save data withing the menu of the game.
