The parking lights are designed to go out on '68-'69 MoPars when the headlights are on. That means the fit of most headers on your B engine will be less then ideal. I have never owned a 383 or 400 engine so I am curious as to how a lower deck height could affect header fitment so much. The ports are the same, just a little lower. Just in theory, I'd think that clearance would be better with a 383/400.
