Go to the achievement menu ingame and track the no-spoon achievement, that will ensure you still have everything valid. When making a new map, set: This will ensure you never ever have to deal with a biter, but still keep the achievement enabled. It is absolutely cheesing to be sure, but everything goes.

Playthrough like I was going for there is no spoon, but don't worry about missing. Don't remove anything, just go. No reworking with new tech, even the original burners are still there. Go back through and hand optimize things, but using only things in nearby sections (I.E. if surrounding area has red belts , only use red belts.)
