Dayz server reset time.
Increasing Player respawn time after death on PC. I am trying to increase player respawn time after they die. I've altered the correct value in the server config (respawntime). On death, it will show the altered time, but the player will respawn in about 10-15 seconds as opposed to the time i selected. Am i doing something wrong?

Every time the server restarts these vehicles and hacked objects show up everywhere! It's an absolute mess. I'd really appreciate being pushed in the right direction.

It's down to the IdleModeCountdown setting in your globals.xml file, which you'll find in the db folder in your DayZ missions folder on your server.Idle Mode...Yeah, for people wondering what the times are, I suggest you download DayZ Server from the Tools option on Steam and then look at the types.xml file as @aux7 has shown a portion of here and then you'll see the times for everything. Globals.xml has timers as well for things like when ruined stuff despawns, etc.
