As mileage builds, the clearance should reduce as the valve impacts into the seat, the inlet more than the exhaust because of grit in the intake air. My pioneer has around 1000 miles. Just throwing this out there for others who may have not had theirs checked yet.To adjust, slide the 0.016 feeler gauge between the valve stem and the adjustment nut.
