I tried increasing the wad pressure to 60 – 70 lbs but I was told by MEC that I should not do that. MEC recommended either Downrange wads or Remington RPX wads. Replacing the SP 12 with another Rem wad may be a tad difficult. The RP 12 is also a 1-1/4 oz. wad, but is a bit shorter and would require the use of a bulky powder to get a good fit, or possibly a filler wad. The only other suggestion would be the CB1114-12 Yellow wad that is a replacement for the WAA12F114 wad (which is now discontinued).
