The Class of 2023 is comprised of 162 students from a variety of backgrounds and locations. The students were selected from an applicant pool of over 5,100 candidates. The class consists of 49% females and 51% males and the age range is 21 to 37 years old. The average MCAT scores among the class was 506 and the average cumulative GPA was 3.63.

In fact, about 40% of each graduating class has completed some form of international medical training experience during their time spent at RVU.Following his residency training with Southern Illinois University, he practiced full-scope rural family medicine in northern Wyoming, which included in-patient care, and sports medicine. In 2017, Dr. Wilde became one of the inaugural faculty at RVUCOM-Southern Utah campus and served there as Vice Chair in the Department of Primary Care Medicine.
