Last week I spent a while shooting my AU along side a used 50# Traverse I picked up and a new Phase 4 33 turned sown to 55#. I gotta say the Phase 4 was surprisingly pleasant to shoot.Mathews, PSE, and Bowtech get my attaboy nods. I don’t love the Mach30 but I think it’s a solid offering and fills a niche. I picked up my new Mathews Phase 4 29" on Monday. I went into my local shop and shot the Phase 4 29/33 and the VTM 31. The draw cycle seemed a touch better on the VTM but the back wall and hold felt incredible on the Phase 4's. It is light but so is the new Mathews. They claim it’s stronger than carbon and dampens vibration 3X better than 6061 aluminum and 20X more than carbon. 30% lighter than 6061 aluminum as well. Just seems like a hard sale and you’re really limiting your customer base.
