On top of that, you can comfortably use Favored Foe adjacent Planar Warrior and saves a spell slot. For me, the value of Horizon Walker comes from the extra spells of Misty Step, Haste, and Banishment. These are just fantastic spells for a Ranger to have. Apr 10, 2020 · I would say take the first 5 levels ranger. Then take either two levels of druid or three of rogue. Scout and assassin would work well for your concept. I would say wield a longsword and shield, or a greatsword/axe as the horizon walker is about one powerful attack. If you weren't being melee, you could take a longbow and focus on that.
