Oct 7, 2019 · I recently purchased a Honda Pioneer 1000 and I just can’t seem to understand how this transmission works. I have followed the dealer’s advice exactly but I can’t get the DCT to shift from 2×4 to 4×4 differential lock unless I am almost stopped. Also, sometimes I can’t get the rear differential to release in 2×4 mode.

So, here's how you replace that grease: Remove the shift motor and gears (all one piece) from the lower front of your engine. There are normally four 10mm bolts that hold it on. Once you have it loose and off, you will see that in the gears, there is some very thick, gummy, stiff grease. If you plow you need to get rid of the reverse level takes to much time and is a huge hassle.. Adjust the cable so that it thinks you are pulling on the lever. There are two adjustment points.
