I am a long time Disney Fan, having stayed many times at the Grand Floridian Resort beginning in 1990. As a pancreatic cancer survivor, turning 60-my family asked where I would most like to celebrate. I answered without hesitation “The Grand Floridian”. Given COVID and cancer, it had been 8 years since our last stay at TGF.

My husband and I are planning a trip for December 2017, and we are trying to decide between a studio at the Grand Floridian villas or Polynesian villas. We have never stayed at the Polynesian, and their studios look much more spacious. You will see it if you open up google maps, find the hotel in satellite view. The guest free parking is the lot you see to the west of Floridian Way. You will also see how busy it is compared to the main parking lot at the hotel which is valet only - $12 when we stayed which was a few years ago.

Staff is helpful & willing to help in every way. The 2 bedroom villas are very spacious, easily sleeps 9 people. We had 5 people and never felt crowded. The pools are wonderful also.
