A question from a lounge regular--I'm looking for advice for a guitar cabinet mic and considering Sennheiser.Is the Sennheiser E906 preferable to the E609? Both models have a noticeable peak @ 4 kHz, and the E906 has a three position attenuator to work with that peak.I'm leaning towards an SM57 due to the versatility should I ever end up needing to mic other instruments, but I know the Sennheiser e609 (and e906 for that matter) are pretty widely recommended for guitar amps. Looking for suggestions from you folks as you all tend to be a great source of knowledge. Thanks!
